Eads

Three students recently competed in the Regional Science Fair in Lamar where winning projects qualify to go on to the state level. All three boys represented Eads well and brought their projects home giving demonstrations for the younger elementary students throughout the week.

Jake Fox, a fifth grader, won first place in the Elementary Physical Science category with his project entitled "Carbon Dioxide."

Tyler Fox, a sixth grader, won second place in the Junior High Biology division with his project entitled "Yeast Busters." Tyler also won $10 in the category of Excellence in Photography.

Austin Adamson, fifth grader, did not place but competed in the Elementary Physical Science division with his project entitled, "Van de Graaff Generator."

The students appreciated the trophies, plaques, area merchant gifts and the cash awards. Congratulations to all the participants for a great showing and good luck at the state competition.
