East End EventsFebruary 28, 2003T The Plainview Accountability Committee is having a lasagna dinner March 6 at Plainview School. The elementary students will be playing basketball after the dinner. They hope to get more details available to the community soon. Friday, after the Lady Hawks' basketball game in Kit Carson, Ruth Fees went to Rick and Kim Harris's home to watch a movie with them. They enjoyed the evening. Linda and Kami Stum traveled to Colorado Springs this weekend for some shopping. While they were there, they stayed with Brian and Tammy Myers. They had a fun time and returned home Sunday evening. Floyd and Wynona Barnes traveled to Wichita, Kansas, for Wynona's aunt's funeral. While they were there, they visited Jim and Ruby Edwards. From there, they headed to Kansas City to visit Floyd's brother Ronnie and Phyllis Barnes. Bill and Millie Jacobs visited Floyd and Wynona Barnes Thursday.

Bernice Tuttle reported that Saturday's game night was successful. They had six tables for marbles! Dick and Sharon Scott hosted Tom Scott and Mary Louise Huddleston for dinner Sunday evening in honor of Mary Louise's birthday. Tom Scott and Mary Louise Huddleston traveled to Lamar to see Gina DeBono play basketball this past week. Carl and Freda Schmidt had Ron and Ruth Buller as dinner guests Sunday. Lane and Tammy Stum visited their son Chris at Ft. Lewis College in Durango this weekend. They all enjoyed themselves.
