Horse Enthusiast Program Offered

Kiowa County 4-H and FFA Horse Program members again are offered the opportunity to meet as a group to enjoy their project. Cindy Williams will be the main coordinator with assistance from 4- H club and FFA leaders and the Kiowa County Extension Office.

Meetings will be held every fourth Thursday of the month. Letters will be going out to current members notifying them of the meetings, if you are interested in the program please contact the Extension Office (438-5321) to add your name to the list. Several workshops, clinics, and fun days are currently being planned.

A new area we are getting information on is a "Horseless Horse" Project. This should be an appealing project for younger members who do not own a horse at this time, but are interested in the project. This will be a county project only as currently there is no state listing.
