Wild Horse Roundup

Friday we thought something bad was going on, as a lot of emergency vehicles went by here such as fire trucks, ambulances. It turned out I heard that it was weeds burning over west of here and someone thought a small plane had gone down. As you know, some things I write are hearsay and that is what this is. Anyway they said it was a false alarm.

This week is kind of a birthday week for the Schrimp family. Wednesday the 15th was Marty’s and Sunday the 19th is mine. Lee Ann and girls called to wish us a happy birthday. They said it had rained and everything was covered with ice. She was going to work and came to a hill and she started spinning her wheels so couldn’t go. She parked and a fellow worker picked her up. It was dark as they don’t have a lot of day light right now.

Our congratulations to Kathy Bledsoe for winning Grand Champion with her Llamas at the Stock show.

I have just watched for me a most entertaining show. A Lawrence Welk memory of the kind of music I like. It lasted over two hours.
