The Plainview Lady Hawks played the Cheyenne Wells Lady Tigers Friday night and lost by only 7 points. They played hard but couldn't quite get ahead. They trailed Cheyenne Wells the whole game regardless of the turnovers they caused as a result of their full-court press.

On Saturday, the Lady Hawks played the Lady Pirates for the PHS Homecoming game. The ladies had a hard time shooting the first half, but came out more determined for the second half. By the beginning of the fourth quarter, the ladies were down by about 13

points. They put the press back on and went all out to catch up and overtake the Pirates. The Lady Hawks came so close, finally losing by 5. Their record is now 5 losses and 4 wins.

Jennifer Poore was here this weekend to visit Evan and Cheri Hopkins. Robert Hopkins joined them for dinner on Sunday.
