CSU Student Tearle Lessenden Awarded Scholarship

Tearle Lessenden, a senior at Colorado State University from Eads, has been awarded the Letha and Bruce Whitmore Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $650. Lessenden is an agricultural education major and graduated from Eads High School in 1999. The award is for the 2002-2003 school year.

Colorado State ranked in the top third of the 100 best public universities in terms of quality of education and affordability by Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine. The Templeton Foundation also has designated Colorado State as a "character building" institution.
