Plainsman Research Center Advisory Council Annual Meeting

The Annual meeting of the Plainsman Research Center Advisory Council will be held Friday, January 31, 2003 at the Cow Palace Inn in Lamar at 10:00 a.m. Coffee and rolls will be served at 9:30 A.M. The meeting and overview will take place upstairs in the Empire Room covering such topics as Variety trials, Seeding rates, Fertilizer rates, and Alternative crops in the morning and Russian Wheat Aphid and Dryland Cropping Systems in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided.

Baca, Bent, Cheyenne, Kiowa, Las Animas, and Prowers counties have representatives that serve on the Council. The council has input into the research performed at the Research Center and areas that need to be considered for future research. Producer attendance and comments are encouraged.
