Obituary - Death Notice - Frank A. Barlow, 82

Frank, former Kiowa County resident and Lamar resident since 1981, was born April 5, 1920 in Santa Fe, Kansas to Elmer and Rowena (Rutledge) Barlow and passed away December 22, 2002 at Prowers Medical Center in Lamar.

The Rosary service for Frank was held Thursday, December 26 at St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lamar with Deacon Henry Wertin officiating. Funeral Mass was held Friday, December 27 with Rev. Anthony A. Wojcinski officiating and interment followed at the Eads Cemetery under the auspices of the Eads American Legion Post #125.

Barlow was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Cledith and Beulah and brothers Roy, Merle, Gerald and Clyde. Survivors include his wife Margaret Barlow of the family home in Lamar, children Bill (Phyllis), Kirk (Kim) all of Eads, Rex (Sharon) of Chivington, Joyce (Ron) Reedy of Lamar, Keith (Gloria) of Fort Collins, Barbara (Niels) Hansen of Rollins, Wyoming, 22 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, sisters Thelma O’Dell of Florence, Edith McDaniel of Holcomb, Kansas, Leona (Dan) McDaniel of Lamar, Donna Jean (Bob) Miller of Eads, brother Don (Sandra) Barlow of Denver, brothers-in-law Vincent (Erma) Lubbers of Colorado Springs and Raymon Crist of Holcomb, Kansas, sisters in law Irene Dreiling of Wichita, Kansas and Patricia Byers of Jupiter, Florida, nieces and nephews of the home Randy Lubbers of Fountain, Jackie (Vince) Tatum of La Junta, Daryl (Karen) Lubbers of garden City, Kansas, Becky Fellows of Fountain, Shelly (Jamie) Hadley of Fillmore, California, Jean Entz (Tim Worthington) of Lamar.;

Memorial contributions may be made to the Frank Barlow Memorial Fund in care of Peacock Funeral Home of Lamar who was in charge of arrangements.
