Death Notice - Allieen Sorrow, 85

Allieen Sorrow was born June 16, 1917 in Lamar, Colorado where she was a life long resident and passed away October 21, 2002 at the Weisbrod Memorial County Hospital at the age of 85.

Memorial services for Allieen will be held Friday, October 25 at 4 p.m. at the Peacock Family Chapel with Howard Hampson officiating. Per Allieen’s request there will be cremation handled by the Peacock Funeral Home.

Allieen was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Lois (Everett) Franklin and eight brothers and sisters.

Survivors include: daughters Barbara Allieen Sorrow of Fowler, California, Mary (Manuel Duarte Jr.) Brito of Lamar; grandsons Bill Gregor of Lamar, Allen (Janice) Sorrow of Lamar, Shawn (Angie) Sorrow of Loveland; granddaughter Shanna (Rob) Filbeck of Hasty; great grandchildren Zack Gregor, Mirage, Sable and Jacqueline Sorrow, Jordan and Janee Filbeck, Shaylene, Shelsea, Sheridan and Sharlet Sorrow; brothers Forrest Richard Haynes of Lamar, Chuck Franklin of California and Walter Haynes of California.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Senior Citizen’s Center or American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer research directly or in care of the funeral home office.
